Chike Nutrition had a very unique challenge that could only be solved through creative marketing - they had two distinctly different communities around two distinctly different products. Their coffee protein and powdered Peanut Butter was adored by more active, millennials who loved to GO - while their protein powders were beloved by a huge community of post bariatric surgery patients. How do they create a brand presence that unites the two communities together? We solved this through a strong, united brand story, content and social media strategy that deployed over a new website, email marketing, social media strategy

Chike Nutrition brought on Blend Social Marketing for my deep experience in the health, wellness and natural product industry to solve a unique problem. Chike's meal replacements generated substantial income for the brand - yet did not fit into the same category or consumer profile as Chike's halo coffee and peanut butter products. How do we unite a social media following that is so active yet so diverse under 1 brand?

We did deeper consumer profiling to understand that while athletes and bariatric patients didn't have much in common - they were both driven by a want to transform their bodies through healthier choices. This gave Chike as a brand, a powerful position to facilitate the POWER for its consumers to create impactful change. The story allowed Chike to become more mission oriented in it's storytelling strategies, while positioning the brand as an impactful piece of the consumer's wellness journey. 

We conducted competitor and market analysis and research to determine key differentiators of the brand - enveloping them flawlessly into our storytelling. We worked off of existing packaging to create brand mood that would be consistent across all communication. Key elements of POWER and TRANSFORMATION were then 

highlighted through content strategies across digital outlets, including social media communities, channel marketing, email marketing, web, paid advertising, trade show strategy and creator relations to position Chike among other iconic lifestyle brands. 

Blend Social Marketing guided both the foundational strategy as well as the full-service tactical deployment of all e-commerce marketing including web architecture, web design, social media community management, content creation, SEO, blog, trade show, analytics, web traffic and influencer / ambassador programs. 

HIGHLIGHT: The brand quickly grew in both social following (4,000+) and sales over a 6mo period due largely in part to a successful online sampling and ambassador program that generated a 92% sample-to-UGC conversion rate among nano influencers and over 2M+ brand impressions.
